In order to get the most from your central vacuum hose you will want to keep your hose in good working order. There are three main elements to keeping your hose in top condition. #1 Always store your central vacuum hose properly. The majority of hoses are broken when they get stepped on or when they are pulled taught and bent around another object. #2 Replace your hose as needed. If you have a small crack in your hose you can lose suction power. This can be a waste of energy if you spend more time trying to vacuum up debris instead of patching or replacing the hose. You can use electrical tape to make minor repairs to your hose but if you start seeing larger cracks it is time for you to buy a hose replacement. Don’t use a vacuum hose that is not getting good suction. It is a waste of your time and your money.
#3 Look for your hose replacements and for hose attachments online for the biggest selection and the best prices. Get the most out of your vacuum by using the right attachments and having a long enough hose to take on your tough cleaning jobs. There are a number of attachments that you can buy to take on your various cleaning tasks. Get an attachment for your bare floors so that you won’t ever have to sweep them again. Make sure you have a long enough hose to perform these tasks and you can get your home cleaner than you ever have been able to get it before.
